ANGIOKERTOMA OF TONGUE: A RARE ENTITY

Abstract


Angiokeratoma is non neoplastic ectasia of superficial dermal vessels.[1] It is characterized by large dilated blood vessels in the superficial dermis and hyperkeratosis mainly involving  lower  extremities and trunk.[2] It is usually associated with systemic disease.  However, we are reporting  this case of solitary angiokeratoma of the tongue which is very rare, only seven cases are reported till date.
