Abstract


Introduction:

        Antibiotics and antimicrobial agents provide an invaluable tool for a control of infection in modern dentistry and present in oral care products have been shown to be effective in inhibiting the growth of oral bacteria and the bio film.Hence this study was conducted to evaluate salivary and plaque p H of commercially available herbal rinses and compare with bench mark chlorhexidine at different intervals .
