PHTHIRIASIS PALPEBRARUM (PTHIRUS PUBIS): A CASE REPORT IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Abstract


Pthirus pubis, is a hematophagous and ectoparasite insect. We present the case of a 46-year-old male patient diagnosed with an eye infection. Phthiriasis palpebrarum is reported for the first time for the Dominican Republic.
